Terms and Conditions for Walcott Dog Park
Welcome to Walcott Dog Park, a haven for canine companions and their owners on the stunning North Norfolk Coast. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, please read and abide by the following terms and conditions:
Booking and Access:
To access Walcott Dog Park, all clients (including those accompanying the client) must adhere to these terms and conditions.
Clients are required to enter and exit the park within their booked time slot.
We maintain a buffer between bookings to avoid overlap in the car park. Please exit promptly to ensure this buffer remains for everyone's safety.
You will receive the current gate code for Walcott Dog Park in your confirmation email. Please check for updates as the code may change without notice. Never share the gate code or leave the gate unlocked.
Cleanliness and Waste:
As a condition of use, please clean up after your dog using the provided bins and biodegradable waste bags.
Payment by card or PayPal is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. If you prefer alternative payment methods, please contact us. Bookings are provisional until payment is received.
The hire charge is accurate at the time of booking but may occasionally change.
If you arrive late for your booking, please ensure you leave within your allocated time.
Confirm your booking by checking your confirmation email before arriving at Walcott Dog Park.
Leave Walcott Dog Park clean and tidy after your visit.
For safety reasons, please avoid booking during hours of darkness, as there are no lights onsite.
Admittance and Cancellations:
No admittance to Walcott Dog Park without a prior booking.
A refund will only be issued for cancellations made 72 hours in advance of the booked slot minus any third party administration fees. Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice are subject to Walcott Dog Park's discretion for rescheduling.
While we strive not to cancel bookings, we reserve the right to do so. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative slot will be offered.
Dog Health and Behaviour:
All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations and worm treatment as a condition of hire.
Walcott Dog Park may request supporting evidence to verify medical requirements; access may be denied if conditions are not met.
Please refrain from bringing dogs with illnesses such as kennel cough or sickness.
Walcott Dog Park may terminate hire agreements immediately if a dog's behaviour or health condition is deemed unsuitable.
Never leave dogs unattended in Walcott Dog Park.
Children:
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Do not allow children to climb on seating, fences, gates, or equipment.
Walcott Dog Park assumes no responsibility for children on the premises.
Water and Equipment:
There is no water on site. Water bowl are provided, you may bring your own bowl if preferred. Please take any bottles home with you.
All play equipment is intended for canine use only.
Walcott Dog Park assumes no responsibility for canine or human injuries.
Equipment's position must not be altered.
The proprietors retain full control and possession of Walcott Dog Park and its equipment. The hire does not grant any rights over the land.
All equipment remains the property of Walcott Dog Park and must not be removed. Equipment may be added or removed without notice.
Safety and Other Considerations:
Keep dogs on leads when walking to and from the car park, and ensure the park gate is properly closed before unleashing your dog. Dogs must remain leashed in the car park.
If you arrive early for your slot, wait in your car until the previous client has left.
Do not enter the field if it's in use; contact Walcott Dog Park immediately if someone exceeds their booking or enters early.
Always close the gate when departing, even if another client is waiting. Do not share the gate code with anyone else.
Smoking, open fires, and BBQs are prohibited onsite.
No toilet facilities are available onsite.
We recommend insuring your dog for all circumstances, including third-party liability, during your hire period.
Clients use Walcott Dog Park and the car park at their own risk.
Walcott Dog Park assumes no responsibility for injury or damage to clients or their property while onsite.
Walcott Dog Park assumes no responsibility for injuries to dogs or resulting vet bills.
Maximum of 4 cars onsite at any given time.
Security and Hazards:
We aim to maintain field security with regular checks. However, due to its rural location, fencing may be compromised by wildlife, and determined dogs may find escape routes. Please report security concerns and keep dogs leashed.
Walcott is home to various animals, including horses and sheep.
Hazards include but are not limited to wild animal burrows, uneven terrain, and slippery/muddy conditions in certain weather.
CCTV is operational 24/7.
Data Protection & Privacy Policy:
Walcott Dog Park acts as a data controller when collecting and using personal data. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring your information's security.
We do not share your information with third-party companies.
Other:
Walcott Dog Park reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
